The event will be graced by an exhibition by Oskar Zięta – architect, designer, artist and innovator. Polish sculptor and blacksmith 4.0, who uses air and parameterisation instead of chisel and anvil. He works with metal in its broadest definition, being responsible for the complete process of creation and fabrication – but without full control. Sound paradoxical? In a sense it is, Oskar Zięta calls it a ‘controlled loss of control’. This slogan has been the fuel for his highly prolific realisation studio and himself for over a decade.

The BEOMNI Cross-Border Omnichannel Conference will be held at an extraordinary historic venue – the Queen Luisa Adit complex in Upper Silesia. It is an underground and above-ground facility with a rich industrial history, which is a fascinating monument to the era of industrialization and technological innovation. The venue is a perfect fit for the conference theme, which will focus on the future of commerce and e-commerce.


Among the historic corridors and machinery, participants will have the opportunity to discuss modern solutions in omnichannel commerce, while being surrounded by the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship that has shaped Upper Silesia since the 18th century. The Królowa Luiza Adit, which used to be the center of “black gold” mining, today is a unique tourist attraction and a living monument to history. Built in 1890, the Chain Bath is the central part of the Królowa Luiza Mine complex. It is a massive building with an industrial atmosphere. The three interconnected halls, with their unique architecture and incredible design possibilities, provide space for concerts, galas, events and banquets.

Guido Mine – a now defunct coal mine. The mine was founded by Count Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck, who received the mining charter on 2 October 1855 and the established facility was named after him. The mining field of the Guido Mine was then 1.03 km2. Earlier drilling in the area suggested that this mining field would be rich in coal deposits, as was the nearby state-owned Queen Louise mine (Königin Luise Grube). Count Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck hoped to obtain coal with coking properties when he built the new mine.
